Social Media - where are we going?

I hate social media and I hate it even more now that I am told to use it for work! Just joking... this is the biggest thing since sliced bread - what will be doing in 10 years time - feeling obliged to tell everybody what you are doing every 10 seconds of the day - who is really interested in personal blogs? We can learn so much about people's private lives but what happens when this information is used in the wrong way - do we really want people to know everything that we do?

Have you heard about the new free energy monitoring devices that can help you save energy in your home? The Climate Change Project is giving away these devices so that they can monitor how much energy is being saved in the borough. It sounds like a good way to save money as well as help the environment.

Strange times

I wish things in the future were clear as a Swarovski crystal, but they never are, not in my world anyway. If only we knew which path to take, life would be much simpler but I guess not so exciting!

Weekend fun

What a week - I have been working hard, helping new staff, cooked dinner, been out for dinner, been out to the gym, swimming and two away days with lots of mental stimulation. Apparently I am a yellow in colour analysis terms so supposed to be inspiring and creative - well lets hope so because I need some inspiration to keep the website going.

Today I have been feeling a little under the weather, must be some of the food I had at the meeting yesterday. Tonight, I am now waiting for my boogie to come over and keep me company - it feels strange being on my own now and it has only been a week!

Weather has been beautiful today - wish I had felt more like enjoying it. However I did decorate the Christmas tree so all is not lost:-)

Today is great day - the rain is falling, the wind is blowing but I am happy to have booked my escape from the winter for yet another year. I just booked my flight down to Trinidad for 22 January and I can't wait to touch down in the land of steelband. whoo hoo!!
